UNDER MY SKIN has the largest selection of professional grade body jewelry in Central Texas. We carry a full selection of surgical grade steel and titanium jewelry as well as bioplast acrylic retainers for almost every piercing.

Surgical Steel and Titanium are considered "Professional Grade" metals because they are the most hypoallergenic and lowest in nickel content of all metals.

Gold and Silver, by contrast, are considered "Precious" metals, but have a very large nickle content and are generally unsuitable for body piercing jewelry; especially for initial piercings.

You will see many pieces of jewelry in our store that are Gold or even Rose Gold in color, as well various other colors. This is Anodized steel or titanium. Anodizing is an electrochemical process that converts the metal surface into a decorative, durable, corrosion-resistant, anodic oxide finish. The result is a permanent color change to the metal which will not chip or fade.

"Bioplast" is a medical grade plastic and as such our retainers made from this material are safe to wear for any medical procedure including MRI's. These clear plastic retainers are perfect for situations like jobs and formal occasions when you can't wear traditional metal jewelry.

We have a huge selection of Industrial bars in standard 14g and several lengths. Our Industrial bar collection varies from plain steel, plain anodized titanium in several colors, as well as various decorative bars such as arrows, crosses, and gem stones.

Many of our decorative bars feature fully adjustable gemstones and gemstone clusters which can be tilted up and down, as well as forward and backward.

We also carry a wide range of licensed Industrial bars from the Marvel and DC universes.

We offer triple refined Emu oil, a 100% natural skin reparative oil used topically for scar tissue, stretch marks, keloids, and other skin damage associated with body piercings.

Emu Oil is used to lesson or eliminate keloids, reduce recent scarring, and is beneficial in treating rashes, eczema and psoriasis. Emu Oil aids in relieving the sting and burn from tattoos or piercings. Emo Oil helps stop itching; reduces inflammation and redness; minimizes plasma oozing; and promotes faster healing.

*Always wash hands before applying Emu Oil.

FOR NEW TATTOOS:

Apply Emu Oil after new tattoo artwork is cleaned to relieve discomfort and reduce inflammation and redness. Use 2-3 times daily on clean skin.

FOR PIERCINGS: Gently massage one drop of Emu Oil around the opening(s) of the piercing with clean finger 2-3 times daily on clean skin.

FOR EAR LOBE STRETCHING: Apply Emu Oil to clean area 2 weeks prior to stretching to help keep skin moist and pliable. Emu Oil will help strengthen skin to prevent tears and blowouts. Apply a drop of Emu Oil on new jewelry before insertion of larger gauge to ease glide.
